Filme Amizades Improváveis – Após sofrer com uma tragédia, Ben se torna um cuidador para conseguir dinheiro. Seu primeiro cliente, Trevor, é um divertido jovem de 18 anos com distrofia muscular. Um paralisado emocionalmente, outro paralisado fisicamente, Ben e Trevor saem pela estrada para encontrar esperança, amizades, e Dot neste engraçado e emocionante conto. Jennifer Ehle, Megan Ferguson, e Frederick Weller completam o elenco ao lado do trio principal.
Burnett é conhecido por ser produtor executivo do Late Show with David Letterman. Ele foi cinco vezes vencedor do Emmy, teve sua estreia como diretor em 2012 com o filme “We Made This Movie”. Ele também produziu o filme, com Ryan Miller (Safety Not Guaranteed) compondo a trilha sonora.

Not as cliché as it seems!
I mostly saw this movie because of Paul Rudd, and because I was curious if the movie was as cliché and cheesy as it seemed. Well, here is my opinion about the movie. Some minor spoilers might have slipped through!
“The Fundamentals of Caring” is about Trevor and his care-giver Ben. Trevor is a teenage boy, who is suffering from a disease that kills him slowly, and he can’t walk, or move his arms properly. Now Ben wants to give Trevor a good time, before he dies.
The directing of the movie was very good. Rob Burnett was responsible for this. He was really good, and surprised me. I thought that the director would also follow the cliché rules of a drama movie, but he didn’t. He used his own style, which makes this movie stand out more. He used some cool camera movements, but at times I could notice that actors walked where he said them to walk too, which made it look a bit unnatural. The cinematography too was very well done. It wasn’t the best I’ve seen but it was very good. The soundtrack however was less good. The music taste wasn’t great, and it was poorly chosen. … by midas-jacobs
