Filme Keanu (2016)
Assistir Keanu – Recentemente abandonado pela sua namorada, slacker Rell (Jordan Peele) encontra alguma felicidade quando um gatinho fofo acaba em sua porta. Depois de um ladrão cruel rouba o gato, Rell recruta seu primo Clarence (Keegan-Michael Key) para ajudá-lo recuperá-lo. Eles logo descobrem que um bandido chamado Cheddar (Método M a) tem o animal, e ele só vai devolvê-lo se os dois homens concordam em trabalhar para ele. Armados com pistolas e uma atitude gangster, ele não leva muito tempo para o duo infeliz para pousar em apuros.

Watch Keanu – Rell’s life is changed forever when a cute kitten comes to his door, and he names it Keanu. Unfortunately, one weekend later, Keanu is abducted by persons unknown. Now Rell and his cousin, Clarence, are men on a mission to find Keanu against the odds.
Unfortunately, those odds prove to be perilously high as they find Keanu in the care of the ruthless gangster, Cheddar, and he will only part with him for a price. Now for that cute kitten, these two middle class bumblers find themselves neck deep in a dangerous alien world of drugs and gang violence with only their desperate audacity, creativity and sheer dumb luck giving them a chance to survive.

A friend recommended this movie to me. I’d seen a few Key and Peele skits (some were funny, some not so much), so I thought I might as well try it.
It wasn’t bad, but not great either. The best way I can think of to describe it is “Meh.” Some of the jokes were funny, but others fell flat. I often found myself laughing out of pity rather than at the scene itself. My sister described watching it as “second-hand embarrassment,” which I think is accurate.
