Filme O Jovem Messias – Aos sete anos, Jesus vive com sua família em Alexandria, Egito, onde eles fugiram para evitar o massacre de crianças pelo Rei Herodes de Israel. Jesus sabe que seus pais, José e Maria, mantêm segredos sobre seu nascimento e o tratamento que o faz diferente de outros garotos. Seus pais, porém, acreditam que ainda é cedo para lhe contar a verdade de seu milagroso nascimento e seu propósito. Com a morte do Rei, eles resolvem voltar para sua terra natal, Nazaré, sem saber que o herdeiro do trono, o novo rei, é como seu pai e está determinado a matar Jesus, ao mesmo tempo em que ele descobre a verdade sobre a sua vida.

Watch The Young Messiah – At the age of 7, Jesus Bar-Joseph lives with his family in Alexandria, Egypt, where they have fled to avoid a massacre of children by King Herod of Israel. Jesus knows that his parents Joseph and Mary have secrets they are keeping from him, secrets about his birth and about traits that make him very different from other boys. His parents, however, believe him too young to grasp the truth of his miraculous birth and purpose. Learning that the murderous Herod is dead, they set out to return to their home of Nazareth in Israel, unaware that Herod’s namesake son is, like his father, determined to see the boy Jesus dead.
Fiction on Fiction, so what’s the drama?
I see many people complaining about this not being based on “facts” and that sounds a bit strange, I mean, it’s a story built around another story that it’s a legend of sorts, how could it be ever based on facts? I can understand there might be a lot of religious people giving up opinions here but for reviewing a film script you have to remember the Christian myth itself is a product of the imagination, fantasy written by other people, or as we usually call it here, fiction. … by Pablo P
